I've heard this show was really great but I'm gonna have to go with BM_shipper on this one - I've read the Wikipedia page on this and as much as I love some of the people involved, I don't think it's for me. BUT I'm thrilled you're enjoying it and that it's brilliant :D

And I had no idea Kevin Bacon only wanted 15 epis...is that total for the show or just a season?

I am always intrigued by shows like this. I don't know why. There isn't much that grosses me out or scares me anything. Although I think horror movies in general are stupid. There's a difference between a quality thriller (which I love) and just plain horror with very little plot -- the "Let's see how many ways we can gross people out and kill people in this film!" mentality.

Each season will only be 15 episodes...Kevin Bacon wanted that so he'd still have time to work on films.

Oh I'm intrigued, but there are some epis of Criminal minds that I have to skip through parts /o\

Oh good for him.'

And I agree on the torture porn, I"m not into movies like that. Give me a good thriller any day.

Clearly there's an audience for horror -- how many of those Final Destination movies are there (and Paranormal Activity). The thrillers I like are more about the characters in extraordinary situations, not films/tv made just for the gross out factor.

the first Paranormal Activity was actually pretty good, creepy, very little gore definitely not made for the gross out factor. House at the End of the Street was pretty creepy as well and had a really good twist. but yeah, the ones made for the gross out factor/how many different ways can we kill people? Not so into that.

I'm just not interested in any of those kinds of movies.

yeah, some of the shows I love have blood ang guts in them, but they are all truly about the characters and everything about them, their goodness, their faults, basically their humanity.
