Will "baby fever" ever end??

So going back to a phrase that my friends, boyfriend and i have so thoughtfully made up..baby fever 2006 is so upon me (and a couple of other people i know)..its actually quite disgusting and i often think of myself with wonderment becuase when i do think that i want kids, i wonder where the old me went, the me that thought not so much kids?? Before I even think about having a baby, I should prolly get a girlfriend. Before that happens, I'd need to get some sort of pet...like a dog...to prove to myself that I'm not so selfish that I can't take care of the needs of another living being...and to make sure the dog actually stays alive, I'm gonna need to get a plant so I can prove to myself that I am capable of being responsible around a set routine. So yeah...the plant, then the dog, then the girl, and THEN the baby. Let's just say i won't be looking into getting any ferns anytime soon...heh.
