the complete DVD set
So, like many others have probably done... I have pre-ordered the 10th season of SG-1 on DVD. Good news, next week, my collection will be complete.
Bad news, according to gateworld, FOX and MGM will release a special 54 discs DVD set which includes 4 all new discs which is rumored to house Sci-fi's behind the scene specials AND supposed never-before-seen content. To read the announcement go here,

I have already completed my collection... there really is no turning back unless I sell all of my DVDs at a discount price for the new set which will involve additional money. So, there really isn't a chance that I'll be able to get the new DVD set. Bummer.
Although doubtful, I hope to God that the special features in the 4 discs will somehow be available for separate purchase. That will make me very very happy. I'm going to remain optimistic.
... unless my new season 10 DVD arrives with NO special features at all.
Then, there will be hell to pay.
