Well it's only been a week and I'm already a little stir crazy. Maybe it's because I'm in Eaton and no one really drives out to see me, so I'm alone most of the time. Or maybe it's because Cohen is wanting to be held 24-7, Laney wants attention 24-7, and I need to study for school 24-7....lol. Just not enough time.
I called to order Cohen's newborn pics that they took at Middletown Regional Hospital today. Apparently MRH is a little behind on the times and is still using film instead of digital. Which means they have to finish the roll before they send it to the company. The company said that it's usually 3 weeks from the delivery date when they get the roll. Then another 7-10 days for them to send them to me. And it was just a nurse that took the pics. Not a representative from First Foto. So that means I won't get his newborn pics until he's over a month old, pay professional price for non professional pics and I haven't even SEEN these photos. Ugh. And I'm taking the kids to Sears tomorrow for Christmas pics anyways. The lady said I could hold off until the company receives them, then they'll post them online and I can see them before ordering. So I'm going to do that. Even if I don't like them I'm going to order at least a couple...they are the newborn hospital pics. Nice to have at least one for the keepsake box or photo album.
Hopefully the Christmas pics come out good. I got Laney a pretty white dress with fur around the collar and sleeves and Cohen a "Baby's First Christmas" sleeper with a hat. They should look really cute. I hope....wish me luck on that...and my make-up ZOO test I have to take tomorrow. I'm just taking Cohen with me. I hope he does better in the car tomorrow than our previous experiences. He doesn't really like the car too much which sucks because it's a 40 minute drive at least to town. I tried to schedule everything for the same day so I could just get it done in one trip. It's hell in the car when he decides to scream. Laney's preschool party is tomorrow, so I decided to take my Zoo test and schedule the pictures then too. And I heard it's supposed to snow tomorrow....GRRRR...hopefully it doesn't. This commute is starting to really suck especially with two kids. I need to find a place closer like now!! Wish me luck!!
