Walk on, walk on...
My final week in North Cackalacky has been one of the best of my life. I have so many things to do write-ups on -- all-nighters where we watched the sun come up from the park, star parties, tea parties, photo shoots, spontaneous excursions with old friends, random and hilarious inside-joke gifts, all that jazz -- but it'll have to wait about a week. Tomorrow the computer gets packed up, and with it goes my internet access, so this will count as my final post from this house.
Honestly, I'm feeling....surprisingly okay about this whole business. It's chaotic around here, but I'm doing fine -- I'm sane, and actually in a very optimistic mood. I guess at peace is the best term for it. The thing I'm most grateful for is just the fact that I've got such amazing friends anywhere, and it's incredibly good to know that no matter where I go, I've got people I love who love me in return.
Keep my family in your thoughts over the next while, if you'd be so kind. It'll be a big change, and we'll have our ups and downs, understandably, but we'll get through it all right. It'll be an adventure, and I'm always up for that.
