List ten songs you are into right now, no matter the genre or if they have words. Then tag ten other people to see their lists.
Well, I won't tag 10 people, but I'll do three, then? Charmisjess, Fialleril, and Aysquid, you're up next.
1. Electrical Storm -- U2. My favorite song ever. I can't even begin to number the reasons that I love it, but it's become part of the soundtrack to my life.
2. Lovers In Japan -- Coldplay. I still can't get over this one, and it's an instant mood-lifter.
3. Wish Upon A Dog Star -- Perry Ferrell's Satellite Party. I heard this a grand total of once on the radio and hunted it down 'cuz I remembered the name. It's one of those odd genre-defying songs and reminds me unflaggingly of SG-1 and road trips.
4. Supermassive Black Hole -- Muse. Jess hooked me on this one, and it's like some mutant, sparkily rock-disco-techno overcaffeinated supernova that I can't get out of my head.
5. Do You Feel Loved -- U2. I refuse to explain my reasons for liking this one, but if you've heard it you probably know what I mean. *smirks faintly*
6. Discipline -- Nine Inch Nails. Good, gritty industrial that makes you wanna go out and kick some butt.
7. Mercy Street -- Peter Gabriel. A really haunting, strangely beautiful song dedicated to the poet Anne Sexton. The Vitamin String Quartet version of this is really good too.
8. Let's Talk About Spaceships -- Say Hi To Your Mom. Snagged from an Atlantis fanmix, and it's so endearingly adorkable that it almost makes my teeth hurt.
9. Some Days Are Better Than Others -- U2. SGA's unofficial theme song, as far as I'm concerned.
10. Imitosis -- Andrew Bird. This song goes along with the most bizzarely charming music video I've ever seen, seriously, go look it up. The song itself is lots of fun too.
If you guys would like any of these, lemme know and I'll send a link. :D
