*fist bump*

When I was in grad school the first time around I had a bunch of mates who were Psych majors. As they'd always recruit their friends and friends of friends to take their tests I ended up taking several of them... until the head of their department asked to meet me and then requested I not take any more of the tests as I was badly skewing the results... Erm... I don't think it's supposed to work that way. *g*

I loathe those sort of tests because they're based on such a crap set of assumptions to begin with. You're female so you MUST read chick lit and your self-image MUST be fragile at best and you MUST be clothing obsessed and... blah, blah, blah. /rant

I grew up drinking instant coffee (well, mainly tea) and didn't get a really good cup of coffee until I came to the States.

My gran always drank Camp coffee.

Oh hell yes to writing POI fic.

Good luck with the internships and studying abroad. ♥

Hahaha, Man, I LOVE being part of research projects. I'm signed up for a bunch of market research programs back home, and they're fabulous because you get paid to give your opinion on stuff or try things in the name of science. I'm always first to volunteer when my psych major friends wish to test theories too. :D ( ... )

Ah yes, so you've been introduced to squash and Ribena I take it. *g*

My favourite take on chicory coffee is how they brew it in Louisiana.

Oh yes. I once made the terrible mistake of thinking Robinson's was regular orange juice and my mouth almost imploded from the sugar. I love all of these once they're properly prepared, though. Mmm, blackcurrant.

I must stand up for the genre of chick lit. Not every novel is bad like that, but a lot of them are. It's just like every other genre of published fiction. :)

Oh, I would imagine so. If the characters had been interesting at all it would have been just lovely, but combining totally bland people with activities that don't particularly hold my interest made this excerpt spectacularly unspectacular. :P
