Ever get those moments where exposing yourself to really depressing stuff makes you feel better? It's like busting through some sort of thick wall of emotional wrack and coming out cleaner.
Also, hey, Edward Norton. Ed makes almost anything better.
I know what you mean. It's cathartic, and usually I...well, enjoy isn't exactly the right term, but I appreciate the experience. However, there also comes that awkward hour of the night (for me, usually sometime around 2:30 in the morning) in which even mildly melancholy things often become tragic and actual emotionally-draining things become disastrous, and you find yourself tearing up over, like, videos of dogs playing together or pictures of space. This was one of those times, so I backed off and went to go listen to something really classy like the Party Rock Anthem.
