I made a short comic about Batman for a new dojinshi bundle out somewhere this year. I've used the character designs from Arkham City and Mr. Freeze's story elements from The Animated Series. I didn't draw any backgrounds - instead I used abstract figures and textures to suggest environment. The full comic is behind the break.
