Bar crawls were not her sort of thing. It was why, after dinner with new friends, Jaina had decided to go out alone just to get a feel for the city. Her saber was left back in her room- she wouldn't need it just for a night out. There were other ways to keep herself and others if they joined her safe if it came to that. So far it didn't look like she needed to at all.

Taking a drink of the sweet berry drink she had gotten from the bartender, which she couldn't remember what it was called, she gave the green skinned woman a smile of greeting. There weren't many off-worlders around the campus from what she could tell. Course it was hard to judge. "Hi! Sorry to bother you," the Jedi spoke up, "do you know much about the town? I was told there was a music festival going on sometime this evening and wasn't sure where it was located."

"Tomorrow?" Jaina blinked a few times before letting an embarrassed expression cross her face. "Earth time is so strange. I don't think I'll ever get used to that. Or stardates."

Giving her head a little shake she sat her glass down, offering a hand to the other woman. "Jaina Solo."

Jaina shook her head, reaching again for her drink for a quick sip before setting it back down. "No.. there actually isn't an Earth where I come from." With her hand she motioned about the bar letting a rueful smile cross her face. "Course there are some places that remind me of Coruscant's upper levels but, well, the city isn't as polluted or populated as they are."

When the puzzled expression crossed Solo's face she let her head tilt slightly to the side. "You aren't from Earth either? And yes.. we should. Course we can always do it later."

"Hey it's possible!" the other girl replied with a soft laugh. "Bothans can be born on any planet and still be a Bothan. Same with humans or Ewoks." A rueful smile crossed the young Jedi's face as she once again reached for her drink. "I don't think I've heard of Orion before. What system is it in?"

Then Jaina nodded her head. "Then I suggest we go find out where the festival is being held at. I've only managed to hear bits and pieces of Earth music and it really is fascinating."

Oh that got Jaina to blinking. The girl who wasn't from Earth knew more about the planet than she did by far! "Wait.. you can see it from here?" Sure she could see Corellia from Coruscant but.. she didn't think Earth would have anything like that really. Even if their tech was modern compared to its history, it still wasn't as advanced as what she was used to.

"I'd like that yeah. I got a few things on my datapad from various planets. Mostly from Coruscant since it's the Core if you ever want to listen to some, ah, stuff not from this 'verse."

"Oh.. well that depends upon the culture and the music." With a shake of her head the Jedi reached for her drink again. "There are so many different types I doubt I could name them all. Never was really into the whole dance class thing as much as my mom wanted me to be. I liked playing with machines and starfighters to much."

After taking a drink from the fruity mix Jaina carefully set the glass down. "What about you? I mean.. just from what I've seen from the places I've been tonight, Earth dancing isn't that different."
