Winter break was great. I went to the City like four times. And then I also hung out in the new house watching tv/dvds on the new plasma widescreen, reading, icon collecting and shopping on the internet, or walking my dog around the new neighborhood, while picking up litter of course. I also got some nice new clothes and went to the Avenue by myself a couple times. I used up three of my many gift cards, which I'm happy about. I saw Jessica and Christina on two occasions each.
Highlights from the break include...
1. Spending the night at Michelle's apartment (her, Allison, and I walked/rode the subway around Upper East Side and went to a movie) and I danced on 3rd Avenue at 88th at 1 in the morning.
2. Skiing in Killington, Vermont. I prefer it to Stratton. It's a great mountain without all the preppy ppl! And we stayed at an adorable, beautiful, cozy bed and breakfast.
3. Spending the afternoon and evening in Midtown/West Side my last day home after the power went out. We went to the Columbus Circle Mall, which I realized is the same as the TimeWarner building! And I discovered a TimeWarner store! Fabulous! TimeWarner's so cool..they own so many cool companies.
Classes are good. So far at least. Spanish is going to be a drag, which is too bad. Not as easy as last semester. Bleh. I'm hoping to finish my dorm's website with Marleina this semester too. American Idol is back and beautiful. And my first real weekend back with my friends here was so fun. So all's well in Elizabethtown.
