I guess I'm making a comeback?
I'm having fun being a tourist in my own city...I went to Victoria last weekend with Pete and we made our way through the Wax Museum, the Underwater Gardens, the actual Museum and the BUG ZOO. Now, don't ask me why we went to the Bug Zoo...I hate bugs and Pete hates spiders...so we got out of there after...I would say less than 20 minutes. I could have held a tarantula and/or a scorpion...but I'm pretty sure Pete wouldn't have touched me at all after that, so it was kind of out of the question ;P.
Hahaha...I would like to use that as an excuse because no matter how brave I pretend to be, creepy crawlies scare the crap out of me. Especially crickets. Yeah...I said it...crickets. Ew.
So yeah, we had a super amazing time...and I have to upload photos of all the fun :).
We fell asleep like grandparents, at about 9pm...but we woke up at an early time so that we were able to scope out as much of the museum as possible....dude, I wish they had the Egypt exhibit back...I would have freaked.
Anyways, been all over this summer so far...made it to the suspension bridge, the aquarium (x2), Stanley Park and pretty much all of the really touristy places in Vancouver...oh, the Imax and stuff...any other touristy places I've forgotten??
Pete made me a CD with his old band and I hate to admit that I've actually listened to it ;P...he had written all the songs and he's an amazing guitar player...what a total turn-on...it doesn't matter if I can't quite make out what they're saying...haha
Sorry this is so friggin boring, I've been out and aboot a lot , as well as at work a lot, so I haven't had a lot of time to update/be online/etc...
I'm missing you all!!! Gimme a shout! :)
