long time, no update!
Well, it's been a while since I last wrote in the LJ...I will try to start updating more regularly. Although now that school has started everyone is updating less frequently! I'm glad to see that we all have our priorities straight. I was going to update earlier today during stats because i was bored, but the teacher kept walking over by me and I didnt really want to be called out in class. It's like in middle school when teachers would say that if they caught you writing/passing notes that they would read it outloud, or better yet make you read it outloud. Did that actually ever happen to anyone, or is that just an empty threat? Anyway, recruitment has pretty much taken over my life (can't imagine what stephanie is going through right about now), but i'm way excited! I think that Gross is doing an awesome job of preparing us, and hopefully we will recruit like crazy. As Kristina and I like to say "recruit or die 2005". On top of being excited I'm also a little nervous. I mean I usually tend to be the quiet one in the conversation so its definatly going to be a little different being the one who has to carry the conversation, but yeah I really do think that I will be fine. I mean I'm not going to just not talk...who would do that!? But yeah, I can't help but be a little nervous about it! But yeah, my schedule will definately be slowing down after this week so it will be nice to have some more free time, especially at night. But I have actually really enjoyed the past month or so because I have been able to hang out with sisters so much.
On Friday me and Kristina saw Just Like Heaven with Reese Witherspoon. Kara and Rachael were there too, so we sat with them. The movie was soooo cute, everyone should see it! It was one of the best movies I have seen in a long time :)
My mom came up to visit on Saturday. My dad couldnt come and my brother was supposed to but decided not to at the last minute because he got asked to play golf...wtf! In the year and a month or so that i have been here my brother has not visited me once! Not that I like really look forward to an afternoon of shopping with my 15 year old brother, but come on is it so much to ask for a visit! Anyway, me and my mom decided to go down to 28th street to eat and stuff. We went to bennigans for lunch which was very yummy, and after that we shopped a little bit at woodland mall. I got some new sunglasses, and some makeup from MAC. I wanted this eye shadow at victorias secret but they didnt have the color i wanted, so i just went to marshall feilds instead.
My red dress is so ugly! I ordered another one from victorias secret, but when it came it was not red but more of a maroonish purple...grrr! Seriously, I will be looking non stop for a suitable red dress for next years preference b/c there is no way that I am wearing this one again...yuck!
Alright well this is getting kind of long, and I apologize for my orginazational skills when writing in my live journal...I write in funny order! Oh well! Only 5 more days till recruitment is over and we get our rho gammas back! I can't wait to get them back...yay!!!
