(no subject)
Whenever I update I can't remember what was in my last update, so sorry if some of my entries are a bit repetative! So I guess I will start with Friday. Had 2 classes from 11-1, not so bad. The Friday classes dont really bother me that much I guess, I mean life would be nice without them, but its only 2 hours and they are at a good time so its ok! After class I headed home for the long weekend. On the way I stopped at the mall to check again for a red dress...no luck there. But I did find something at the one and only DRESS BARN!! haha...i'm not gonna lie, its really not to cute and I wouldnt buy it if I wasnt desprate for a red dress, but it fits, and it is not slinky like some of the other dresses, but it isnt gonna be the best looking red dress around. I guess I will have to look extra good that day to make up for the not so good looking dress. Oh well, atleast I found something b/c I was starting to worry about where the heck I was going to come across an acceptable non slutty red dress. So I didnt do much when I got home, just kind of hung out with the fam and stuff. Then Saturday I went down to Novi aka. 12 oaks mall with my mom to do some more shopping. She needed to return some shoes that she got there and she couldnt find the same store around here, so we made the trip. I wasnt looking for a lot but I picked up a jean skirt, and a few other things. Also, on the way we stopped at the howell outlet mall and I got some dress pants from the Banana Republic outlet, whcih were only like 47 dollars. Considering the price of non-outlet banana republic pants i was pretty excited about those. The were originally like 80 dollars even at the outlet, but they were like 40 percent off...yay! Sunday I didnt do much either, slept till about 11, and then was just sort of lazy all day. Eventually I went to blockbuster with my mom and rented a movie, and then came back and helped her work on some stuff for her classroom. She is starting school tommorow...so late this year! Saturday night I decided that I would have a throwback to my childhood and watch Free Willy. I realized that throught the entire movie they use the same background music, but like when it is a real action packed part they just speed it up, or during a heartfelt moment the slow it down a bit. And miraculously, the little boy jesse can also hear this background music and somehow learns to play it on his hharmonica...weird! But yeah, i gotta say at 19 I still think that Free Willy is a darn good flick! So I guess that brings us to today. Got up around 10, got ready and helped my mom in the classroom again (what would she do without me!?) Then we went out and bought my brother clothes for school. I dont think he has been to a mall/place that sells clothes in like 2 years. My mom and I always get stuck buying his clothes for him. After that we went to meijer and got some of the stuff that I needed to go back to school. For the first time, basically ever I am actually looking forward to going back to school after the weekend at home. I just feel so much better about this year I can't really even believe the difference already. Definatly a relief, i'm not gonna lie...I had a little bit of a hard time sometimes last year, especially when I would go back to school after a weekend at home. Once I got there I was always fine, but it was always kind tough to leave. So yay for a better year!!! Its weird how much things have changed in a year...last year at this time I tagged along to campus life night with kristina not even really considering joining a sorority, and now here I am a year later! I guess there i'm living proof that campus life night is an effective way to get people to go through recruitment! I'm looking forward to campus life night tommorow night, I love being on the other side and NOT being a freshman! alright, well this is a pretty long entry so I guess I will wrap it up...sorry so long!
