JKR vs. SVA - Part one
And, it begins. Funnily enough, after spending most of the day waiting to see what she said, and then reading about it/trying to find transcript/discussing it with former law professors, I still only have one question.
What in the world is wrong with SVA?
He can't win this. He looks very stupid at the moment. Not that he didn't look stupid before, but you know, it's one thing to look stupid in front of the fandom, another one completely different to have the whole WORLD know you're stupid.
His credibility - gone. Any future he might have, as a writer, as a researcher - pretty much gone, too. And, I just wish I could understand WHY.
I mean, AT least I can see where RDR is coming from. Even if I think their whole notion of publicity and creating an image is rather ridiculous, I can understand. Their lawyers are getting paid. SVA, however, is just an idiot.
