JKR vs. SVA - Part Two

Apr 16, 2008 09:25

The difference between a good lawyer and a bad one?

The good one prepares a cross-examination, only asks questions when he/she knows what the answer is supposed to be, and has material prepared, just in case the witness answers something different. A good lawyer also never asks questions that have no bearing to the case, just because he/she is interested in the answer.

A bad one? A bad one just asks questions. Goes fishing, as they say.

To be fair, though, I don't really know what else the RDR lawyers could have done. Not take the case, maybe?
