So I got an awesome Tuesday surprise yesterday... Jordan came to see me! His back was hurting him at work and he told me he was going to leave early so I said if you're leaving early you should come see me! And because he's amazing he did! Could life get any better?
We met up at my house and hung out for a little bit then went to Mulligan's to play miniature golf. We also rode the Go-Karts and I totally kicked his butt there. Miniature golf was funny. He got like, two hole in ones, but a few times it took him like 10 puts to get it right. I didn't get any hole in ones, but I think overall I beat him. We didn't keep score so we don't really know who won...
After that we went back to my house for dinner. My mom made tacos and Jordan and I picked up chips and salsa from El Paso Cantina. Yum! Dinner was hilarious... as always. Maurice was there too so that made it even more interesting. Jordan got to see the true colors of my family... good thing he liked it!
After that we went to our favorite place... la playa. We got there before the sun was down but because it was cloudy there wasn't much of a sunset. We just sat and talked about everything. I love being with him. We can even sit there and not talk for ten minutes and I still love every minute and feel like even then we get closer and closer to each other. I love his kisses. It's amazing. He's amazing.
We talked about some heavy stuff last night. He keeps talking about next summer getting an apartment near me so we can get to know each other better... I don't like the idea of that. I want to be with him next summer. So I told him that. I said that, while I don't want to rush anything, I don't want to wait that long, either. If things keep going the way they are I don't see any point in waiting that long. Then he got real quiet which means he's thinking; so I asked him what he was thinking about. He was wondering what's going to happen if we get married. His biggest concern was, do we have a long engagement and get married after we graduate or do we stay separated during marriage. I didn't understand why we would have to do that so I asked him and he said he doesn't want me to go to Utah just because of him. Without even giving it a second thought I said, but I would. Then he said what about after graduation? His goal is to get his Master's from Harvard and wondered what I thought about going to the East Coast for a couple years and then after that coming back to California to get his Doctorate. I said bring it on! haha He liked m answers and said that it's going to be hard but that we wouldn't be the first to do it. I know we could do it. We are both strong people and as long as we're together I think we can do just about anything.
It's really scary talking about this kind of stuff... but it just feels right with him. I would move to the East Coast with him. I would marry him tomorrow if he asked. haha. Ok, maybe not, but still. I want to marry him. I'm not in love with him yet, but that step isn't too far away. Our lives, we, just fit.
Oh boy!
