Oh Life...
I am so happy to be back up at school! The semester is going really well. A couple of classes are going to kick my butt, one already is, but it's exciting! For my visual media class I'm currently working on designing a logo for a fiction non-profit orginization. I don't think I'm very good yet, but my teacher doesn't really give us a whole lot of time to do things! He gave us the assignment on Wednesday and by Monday we have to have seven sketches done on paper and on the computer. It doesn't really sound like a lot, but they have to be done on Adobe Illutrator and I don't know how to use Adobe. So, I'm heading to the computer lab soon to try and figure this out. Fun fun!!
Idaho is great. Last week I left my apartment one morning and walked out into the bitter 18 degrees below zero weather. It's really not as bad as it sounds. As long as my head and hands are covered and I have my wool petti coat on I'm fine. Yay for adjusting to weather!
This semester really feels a lot different to me. I'm meeting tons of people, tons of new friends, and having a blast. I don't know what it is about right now, but I will not complain! I got four new roommates and they're all awesome, again. I got lucky! And my roommate that's still with me from last semester is a lot different now. She's more outgoing and fun and she and I are becoming super close. The girl in my room is pretty awesome. We get along great and have tons of fun together.
And for boys... I Am Not Single! That's right. After four years, Mindy Bird found a man willing to be with her haha. It's the guy I was dating over Christmas break, Cortney. Long distance really really stinks! However, I will be 21 a month from today and my parents are flying me home to celebrate and I will be able to see him again before he heads off to Iraq in April. He really is a great guy. He has some different views on things, but he's still amazing and I can hardly wait like, 25 days to see him. Yay for boys!
I'm working! It feels so good to be needed and paid! I am a secretary for two Biology teachers and they are keeping me so busy! My first week one of the teachers needed me to reformat all of his labs for him. 9 hours and 57 pages later, I was done. And it was amazing. And he loved it. I'm learning how to put quizzes and things on the school's website. I'm so good! I feel so good about this semester and am learning so much and it's really exciting.
I'm learning how to snowboard! Yesterday was my second time with my class. I'm doing really wel. I fell a lot more than last time, but I'm trying more things now, so I guess it's okay. We go up to rand Targhee in Wyoming every Friday and snowboard all day. How could life get any better!?! Also, I'm teaching dance again! It feels so good to do that, too. I'm tellin ya, life is just fantastic. For now. I know it could change in an instance, but for now I am reveling in the amazingness that is my life.
