The muse was kind enough to return to me this afternoon and evening. I've been wrestling with the backstory for my latest project for a few weeks. Finally the pieces started falling into place. I got to a good stopping point about 10 minutes ago. (That plus airheadedness explains why I didn't make it to your party, ashoemaker and cplpunishment. For some reason I thought it started at 8 p.m. Imagine my surprise when I checked the email and saw 4:00! FAIL. Sorry, guys!)
