Random Thought
So, my boss had her baby yesterday morning. It is a boy, 6 lbs 15 1/2 oz and his name is Jason Andrew, which is really cute and happens to be the same first and middle name of Jason Varitek, whom we joked with her husband about naming the baby after before they even picked the middle name. Dee-Ann was like, "how about Jason?" and her husband went, "yeah, right. Jason Varitek Dumas" becasue Dee-Ann loves Tek. Then the other day she IMed me and was like, "we think we agreed on Jason Andrew" and I said, "shut up. You know that's Tek's middle name, right?" and she was like, "No way!" so I think the whole thing is funny. Shut up or I might kill you.
So anyway. My random thought, while watching A Baby Story, was sparked by something Dee-Ann said while she was pregnant. One day the baby was kicking and so her stomach was bouncing around and I asked if it was weird to have an actual person growing in there. She said yeah, it's kind of like Alien, because there's literally someone else inside your body punching and kicking the crap out of you. So then I was thinking today, how weird is it afterwards, to not have it in there anymore and suddenly have a little baby instead? I bet it's really weird. Creepy, actually. Obviously I need to get more sleep and stop taking cold drugs, because I keep thinking of weird random things like that and, sicne I went like a month and a half without updating, feel the need to share my random thoughts with you fine people.
Now, off to watch Legally Blonde and cross-stitch some crafts for XMas.
