Baby, Please Come Home
I've managed to stay incredibly busy over the course of this past week. It's rather surprising actually considering that I have not found any sort of full-time employment... but it has really been enjoyable. You may ask what I have been up to (actually you probably don't but too bad, I'm runnin' this pony show here!!!)... well:
~I have hung out with a bunch of people since Friday (when the dorms kicked everyone out): Alisa, Colleen, Janeen, Becca, Jim, Jessi, Nick, and Sumiaya. It had been a long time since I had seen a few of those people. It was all quite fun.
~Did a bunch of research for the retired psychologist I'm working for. That was good for some easy money.
~Job hunting of course, which landed me a very part-time job at Bell's Pizza on MAC. We're talking like one day a week part-time. I only worked 5 hours today, my first day and then was on call until 7pm in case there were any deliveries. There weren't. But it's better than nothing and it's a really, really easy job where I can eat and drink whatever I want. The manager I work with is really cool too, so no real complaints.
~Sleeping until past noon takes up a lot of time too. You'd be surprised.
~A lot of pantsless time. Especially for as hot as my room gets. It's tropical hot. A palm tree sprung up next to the dresser.
~Of course there has been way too much time spent online and a fair amount spent on the phone. Oh well.
***So Christmas... I decided to go home Tuesday and probably come back Thursday. We'll see how it goes, but I'm not optimistic. It's gonna be depressing. There's not even a tree up at my house. No one is coming over Christmas day... it's gonna just be another reminder of how fucked up my family life is. On the other hand, Alisa wants to get together that day at some point and really that will make it all worthwhile anyway.
