The Ray Davies concert on Saturday was, naturally, amazing. It was different from the two shows I've seen before from him (on the Storyteller tour). It was more rockin', whereas the others were more acoustic. At 62, Ray can still rock hard. Not in a silly, holding on to his youth Mick Jagger kind of way where it's pathetic. He can genuinely still rock *and* be dignified *and* be his own age *and* be funny. If you ever get a chance to see him, take it.

My little sister and her puppy Willow are staying with me. It's fun and odd. I'm not used to having to think of a third person in the house--or a second puppy. She's a good kid, though my laziness about worrying about a third person makes me even more sure that I don't want kids. heh

It's odd having grandma and papau and mom all off. G&P are up at her sister's funeral. Well, it's a service, not really a full on funeral. Then they may be going to see papau's brother who is also in a bad way. It's all very strange. Mom's staying with her friend at a cool organic spa. I dunno. I'm in a blah mood today. Can't motivate myself to do much more than play Sims 2. But I guess there's nothing wrong with that. I keep reminding myself things are all going to be okay and it'll all work out in the end... but I sorta suck at optimism, apparently.
