Woo HOO!
I had an awesome time camping this weekend! It was great to relax and not have to think about anything work/life-related. Brian is an awesome guy to go camping with! He is my number one on the list to take camping. No worries about anything, Brian has it covered. He set up our boy-scout tent, cooked dinner, dessert, and breakfast. (Also, he makes really good s'mores!). It was awesome! We went with my friends April & Gumby; and Gumby's 2 little brothers. His youngest brother was hilarious! He imitated a dance that apparently his dad does, and it was killer! We all had a really good time! Carpinteria State Beach was very beautiful, it just needed some good weather to make it even better. We had to stop by Brian's parents' house and return the camping supplies. I saw his dad again, very grim & gruff. I'll get to meet mom, eventually. :D Then we went back to the pad and Brian BBQ'd, while I went on a test drive with a friend. (Didn't work out though, oh well) Brian took me to the Livery and I got to run lights, that was awesome, for him to include me like that. Makes me feel special. :P After a great night/weekend, Brian drove me home to S.B. Let me tell you, that after a great time in Ventura with Brian, Santa Barbara feels very empty without him here.
I am hoping that I get an apartment soon, I am so anxious to move out. I also, need a car! (Anyone, know anyone? who is selling a car? Please let me know!) Some really good news is that I checked the answering machine this morning and I had a call back on an application for a job at Michaels. That is awesome! Go me!
I only have one more day left after today.. It is already 20 minutes to 10:00 and I don't think my boss' wife is going to show up. Oh well, what the hell can I do? I'm just going to sit here and twiddle my thumbs a little bit more. I will be so happy when I don't have to work mornings anymore! That gives me so much more time to go and look for an apartment/job/car! woo! Busy girl!
Well I have not much else to say, except for: White Female, early 20's, is seeking a well-paying job - benefits are a plus; well-maintained, used vehicle for less than $6,000, and a clean 2bdrm apartment with a view for less than $1100. Any hits?
