Ari is only poking about in further search for useful supercomputers. But it's a poking about that leads to her sticking her head around the laundry room door. "Hello, Elaine," she says, with a smile.

"Dr. Emory." She puts down the shirt in her hands.

"See you're keeping busy," Ari says, looking about the laundry room with interest. So many intriguing cabley things!

"Yes," she says. "Sir Percy's got four people living with him."

Ari whistles. "Good thing he knows you."

[star_in_night]

A very slight shrug. "It's simpler to do it up here, and they've got enough with the farm."

Ari nods. "Very reasonable." She leans back against the door, watching, her body langauge open and welcoming.

"I wanted to ask you--"

[ari_v_2_0]

"Yes?" Ari says, staying right where she is.

[star_in_night]

"Lynette is here. My friend. She was the alterday pilot. She's--" Elaine's hands flatten, white, on the pile of shirts. "She's hurt, and I can't help her. I don't think Modred can."

Ari straightens, steps to Elaine's side. "Because she's lost space?" she asks.
