mini rants.
Rant 1.
If you are helping to put on a bridal shower (and are a bridesmaid), please dress appropriately.
CLASSY: dress pants, skirts, nice shirts, dresses, and the like. dressy shoes.
TRASHY: JEANS! especially those with salt stains on the bottom. black jeans also don't qualify as "dress-up". jean jackets. tennis shoes. polos with screen printed butterflies.
For the love of mike, just look like you care about your appearance and the event.
Rant 2.
In regards to said bridal shower...
Don't stand around looking like a bump on a damn log. Take initiative to help people out. You are helping to put this on. The responsibility shouldn't rely on one person.
Rant 3.
If you have to ask your mom how to log gifts on the back of cards and you are going to be getting married later in the year, you probably shouldn't be getting married. Grow up a bit first.
Rant 4.
Sex is not a bad, awkward thing to discuss. It is a natural (FUN!) part of life. Yes, it has awkward moments, but that's what makes it fun. Embrace the sex. If you're getting married, it's going to happen at least once....lol.
Rant 5.
I want to be employed. I've been working my arse off trying to find a job.
Good news: Going back to school. Must bring GPA up a titch. Looking forward to it. The lack of intelligent conversation has been melting my brain.
Rant 6.
I hate diets. What do I hate more than diets? The fact that I'm on one. Apparently, I'm looking better, but I've never really had body issues before and I don't want to go to the extreme (because I know that's something I"m capable of).

Why must some people in my father's family tell me what to do? They never really cared about me when I was younger, so why the hell should they start now? I don't really appreciate it.
