(no subject)
Sorry that I haven't been updating recently. I will offer up no excuse. Life is good right now. Well, much better than a week ago. On Valentine's Day I made the decision to drop my classes this semester, and take time off to travel for a year. Grad school can wait, and I'm in no rush to finish school. I feel very similar to right before I went to Los Angeles for the summer 2 years ago, however a lot less nervous. Also, I have to express my gratitude to Will and Kim. Both have been extremely supportive... and I would probably be a mess if it weren't for them.
Friday night was fun. The only bad note was Mike accidentally telling Carla that I was going to drop my one Bootstrapping class. DAMN YOU MIKE!!!!!! She was very pissed at the thought of me dropping one class... and I don't want to see how mad she is when I tell her that I'm dropping all of my classes and moving out. Legally I am fine, and I figure she should be able to support herself and I'm not going to stay just to be around her. gah. She will be mad at first but she'll cool down.
Other events on Friday night... mike and rob bickering... fun! UCB was fucking hilarious.. and I ate some good pizza. I got the feeling that Nick felt out of place... especially after the emma comment.
Saturday was interesting. I went to the Elora slots, and .... oh boy, I won $14! Gambling is very dangerous for me. I understand the probabilities, and how much of a sham they are... yet I really like those kind of games. After the slots, I hung out with Mike Blair and Marian. Marian has changed quite a bit... but I can tell she's the same funny girl underneath.
So there is your social update. Basically the point of this update is to let you know that I'm feeling 1000X better than last week. There will be many more updates about the next phase in my life.
