Lenny!
I got it! My robotic arm is finally here! I've named it Lenny because, well, its kind of retarded and has problems moving without smashing into things or moving itself around on its support. You can see the pictures of it as I was building it here. Of course along with that came a bunch of loans. But oh well. It will let me pay off my credit card and stuff (like going to manuel's for more beer with Travis and Krista). I've also gotten Lenny to move with my cellphone already, just need to buy another servo or two to add on and he'll be done and ready to use in a show. Next I just need to finish my MaxMSP patch to allow sampling with cellphones for live concerts and I'll be done with my master's project. Unfortunately school is just starting to get interesting and we have lots off cool projects in the work that I won't get to work with unless I magically somehow get some sort of research funding for next semester (prolly not gonna happen, maybe someone will pay me a pitiance to do some research while I have a real job, I'm cheap). I'm missing some old things I used to have and lost a while ago now, but I'm feeling pretty good. Its nice having a bar where people say hello when you get there and goodbye when you leave.
