houses...
I am looking at repainting my porch in a few weeks (it needs it desperately), and want a plan of attack for sprucing up the rest of the house - repaint trim, shutters, etc - that doesn't involve repainting the entire house.
My house is circa 1910. It would be nice to have a paint scheme that... I dunno. What did Arts & Crafts style houses back then look like on the outside?
Of course, it's probably just silly, and they looked a lot like what every other house on my street looks like.
But the house is 100 years old. I'd like to work with that as I do home improvements, and not just try to ignore it.
