(no subject)
Mary and I had a beautiful day yesterday of thinking about going out to each-other's house for the weekend. The thing that got into the way was not really the cost of plane tickets, but the poor timing of tickets that were left. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted :) Of course, I had a slight panic attack at the thought of trying to clean up my house enough for a 1 yr old baby to be over, too. Let alone actually baby-proofing it :)
And as a side-note, Home Depot (I was there looking at paint) does not carry the little things that you stick into electrical outlets to keep kids from sticking things into them. Someone up the chain decided that they carried the safety outlets, and therefore didn't need to carry the plugs.... *sigh*
Today, my plan is to stain pavilion poles and work on the bookcase I started back when it was cold outside. I also have a dress I need to finish (because I have sleeves and hemming left), and I really should clean up the house so that it's not a disaster area.
Off to drink more coffee, have a muffin for breakfast and then start finding things to really start my day!
