two posts in one day! I know!!
today we were sitting here. I was doing calculus at my desk, or rather, I was getting done. and you were reading my roomate's cosmo, because you wanted a good laugh, and had nothing better to do than read while you waited for a chance to distract me from my homework for five minutes.
and it was wonderful.
and you decided to fill out a quiz as a joke.
and then the first question was "suppose you get a great job offer across the country...what do you tell your significant other?" and there were answers to choose from.
but we didn't get to those answers. because as soon as you read the question, we both knew we didn't have an answer. and we knew we didn't want one.
and I looked at you and told you I didn't care, that I wanted to live in the moment. and it would all work out right in the end.
and I meant it. because this moment was just about perfect. so I went back to my homework, and you started to read about ways to apply 'fabulous night makeup', and we held hands.
