1. Name: Rica
2. Age: 20
3. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you choose? Hmm. The Irish countryside, maybe, or any place, basically, with a fantastic countryside. I've always wanted to live in a quiet place, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Not too remote, though. It has to be somewhere I could have easy access to necessities and such.
4. What would your Room of Requirement look like? A huge, comfortable room, most likely something like a cottage, with a big four-poster with large, fluffy pillows and a soft mattress. Shelves of my favorite books and DVDs of my favorite TV shows and flicks. A good sofa in front of a television set. A good video and audio system is in order, as well as a computer with a fast internet connection. Must have big picture windows and a good view, the countryside, or maybe the beach. I'd most likely be caught reading a book, or reading fanfiction on the net, or if I'm in a restless kind of mood, I'd be staring out the window and admire the wonders of nature.
5. Who is your least favorite Harry Potter character? There's quite a number that comes in mind, but Peter Pettigrew just makes me wanna crawl out of my skin. He was the Potters' secret-keeper, for goodness' sake! He was supposed to be their friend! Betraying them was such a despicable thing to do. Thinking about it just makes me cringe something terrible.
6. Is the glass half empty or half full? Half-full. I'm basically a very optimistic person, and I try enjoy every thing about my life, no matter how little it may be. Looking at the bright side keeps me and everyone around me strong and happy.
7. Give us a quotation (Can be from a famous person, a song, or even a poem-whatever you want) you feel represents your life or personality.
"I can do everything in Him who strengthens me." --taken from the Philippians, in the New Testament.
"There is no trial God permits that ever comes in vain. There is always sunshine after every cloud of rain." ---found on an inspirational memento from a local stationery.
8. In your life, who comes first: family or friends? Family. Though I love my friends terribly, there still isn't anything that beats the love of the family. Other people could turn on you and even leave you alone at your lowest moment, but no matter how horrible a person you might be, family sticks with you, no matter what. That's the way it is with my family, and I will always be there for them.
9. What is your favorite childhood memory? Riding on my grandfather's shoulders. Well, every single moment with my grandfather, really. He was my pillar of strength, my sun. He was just full of love and kindness for everyone, and somehow, he passed on his sunshine to me.
10. What would you say is your biggest flaw? Procrastination. It is the bane of my existence--I've gotten into loads of trouble for not doing my work on time. I hate it, but I can't get rid of it. I've got it so bad, I'm actually supposed to be doing my thesis that's due in two days, but instead I'm LJ-whoring like there's no tomorrow.
11. If you had been at Hogwarts during Harry’s fifth year, do you think that you would have joined the D.A.? Definitely. I like Dumbledore, and I believe in his wisdom. I'd trust him with my life. Of course I'd fight for what he--and the D.A.--stands for. No matter what.
12. Describe how you react to difficult or stressful situations. I stop and breathe. I calm myself down and try to think things over. Calculate how much time I need and what I should do first. Then I figure out the how and where and who. When I've gotten it all down, I deal with the situation. If it gets too much for me to handle, I turn to someone who can help me.
13. Which do you value more: compassion or justice?
Well, I think there should be just the right amount of both. One would be a tad too much without the other. But I think there needs to be a little more love in the world.
14. Would you say that you’re a child at heart, or that you have an old soul? Child at heart. I'm always looking at things with new eyes. I am happiest when I learn something new, especially about something I've always known. And I have this thing--I believe that there is good in everyone. My friends think I'm insane, but I still believe that.
15. Which Hogwarts House do you think that the Sorting Hat would place you in? Gryffindor, but Ravenclaw comes a very close second.
