I am so sorry for my abject stupidity, but who left without saying goodbye? Anyways. That is so a thing that I would do. I am THAT bad at goodbyes.

i just have a real issue with people leaving without saying goodbye because i always think "you know, this could be the last time i ever talk to them and they didn't say goodbye" and it makes me really sad.
