I finally got out and rode! Last Saterday, I suited up and headed out from Stepford did some street miles to Littleton, picked up my boots at work, then hit some crappy local trails that panned out to be nothing, so I headed off with the intentions of going to Shirley to my old riding areas, well at least whats left of them, now that those super touchy feely assholes from the cities have moved to the area and closed stuff off, but lucky for me I decided to take an interesting trail that I had spotted a while back, and it turned out to be awesome! I did alot of dirt miles. It was great, lots of people out there that day. I didn't go too far because I was riding solo and it would have sucked to get hurt and not beable to ride back. I think that it would be kind of hard to cal for help and explain where I was when I wasnt really sure, but it was still an awesome time I was out for almost 4 hours, I actually had to fuel up so I could make the trip home. It was great and I love all my new riding gear that I got for Xmas.
That was pretty much it for excitement that weekend sunday me and Dw spent cleaning, I spent all day cleaning the kitchen, and I cleaned EVERYTHING, replaced the filter in the hood over the stove, cleaned the floors, walls, etc. I even took apart the mini fridge and fixed it, the motor needed some work, but I got it going and it is cranking right along as I type this all nice and quiet like it should be.
Last week was the same old same old, work and shit, it was a ball buster of a week, I wasn't getting out of work until like 4 am, so needless to say I was working hard no lunch breaks etc. My bosses or owners of the company were up from FL for a few days, and one of them is a fucking dickhead. Well me and the other guy I work with at night just got done, doing some front end work on a Mack, and me and him are standing next to the truck talking about it and around 1 am mr boss comes strolling in and sees up standing there talking, so we catch some shit for it the next day. That pisses me off, me and the other guy do more work in one night than any of the day guys do all fucking week and like always we stop for 5 minutes and someone walks in and it just looks bad. So I dunno how my review is going to go. I hate that asshole, and wouldn shed a tear if something horrible were to happen to him. Just glad I have a plan B come review time.
So before all that BS happened me and Dw had a nice weekend, we went to the New England flower show, it was cool, its not really a flower show as it is ind of a plant and landscaping expo. It was cool to see all the displays and the really cool landscapes the seaside forest one was kick ass, they had alot of artsy flower things that were pretty lame, I am all about the native natural looking yard type displays. It was a good time, plus they sold the hand made, county fair type lemonade, you know the ones with like half a lemon in it, but mixed with vodka, yummy. I bought no plants, but did buy some girl scout cookies, and signed up for a water cooler contract. The water cooler is sitting next to my couch and I have a 20 gallon reserve in this room. It is so fucking cool. Hot water, cold water, I love this damn thing. I drink alot of water and I know it sounds stupid but it is really awesome that I can just kind of lean off of my couch and press the lever and refill my cup.
After the flower show my and DW called Brandy and George but they were lame and chose to stay home and play video games with some other freinds rather than go to the sunset with us. Lame! So me and DW took the T went to the knife shop where I drooled over the emersons, and then went to the Union Oysterhouse, no seats at the original bar, but we sat atthe newer big bar. The bar menu is where it is at anyways, its all the good original local stuff. SO we got a big ass lobster and I got some oysters, from Duxbury of course, none of that maryland garbage. It was alot of fun.
Just bought beer summit tickets! Hope to go with Philberto and Brandy, plus Fenway in 15 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love Boston
