Vacation = End
So I'm back from Florida! It was...warm, for starters. Sunday and Monday were 101 and 95 degrees, respectively. Monday we watched the Atlantis launch from a few miles off Cape Canaveral, and I spent most of Tuesday and Wednesday hanging around our resort, golfing, swimming, etc. I had purchased a one-day/two-park ticket for the Universal Orlando theme parks on Thursday, and that turned out to be a lot of fun. I was the only one out of my family that went, so I was able to just flit about as I liked. The 'ride' park, Islands of Adventure, had some great coasters, and Universal Studios itself didn't disappoint with a few good 3-D shows and such. The only other event of note was our trip to see Cirque de Soliel's "La Nouba" show on Friday night at Disney, and...wow. It's hard to explain all that went on, because the show was a complete cavalcade of all their acts, but if you have not yet gotten to see Cirque live, I highly suggest finding any of their shows and going. Absolutely breathtaking to watch. I don't have any real pictures, nor did I end up buying much, but I nonetheless really enjoyed my time down there, and it's good to be back home.
