I love both breeds too! I used to pet sit for 2 Golden's and I just loved them!

His shelter name is Ike, and he recognizes it and answers to it. I like it, so I'll be keeping it!

He is soooo cute and sweet its ridiculous!

I am not big on barkers either. I don't mind it when someone is at the door, but I hate when dogs bark when they are demanding something. There was actually a black lab/beagle mix there, but he didn't like children, unfortunately :(
