cinco de mayo was shitty, mainly because i had to work. i got someone else's vomit all over me and had to go home and change clothes. ugh.

lesson #1 in honda civic ownership: cheap ass floor mats from wally world don't fit the ride. i NEED floor mats. looks like i'm shelling out the change to get them from honda... and trying to take the el cheapo ones back to the mart of wal. hopefully my license plates will be in this week; maybe i can see if the dealership might be interested in hooking me up with floor mats. [ed. note: for those that are interested, or about to take why didn't i just transfer my plates from my truck to my civic? you can't take texas truck plates and put them on a four door sedan.]

my stepmother, mary, will be here for a week starting tomorrow. i believe we're gonna go down and see my uncle. she will met fwtallgirl and mary will probably drag me to every consignment store and mall in the DFW area. she has to meet thor anyway because i'm pretty sure this is (in part) a spy mission set up by my father to make sure i'm living in something marginally better than a cardboard box and being treated a whole lot better. i'm strangely ok with this concept. mary feels bad about kicking me out of my bed [ed. note: i live in a one-bedroom apartment and my couch, as bad ass as it is, is not a pull out sofa.] so she wants to buy an air mattress and sleep on it.

i did something really fucking stupid nearly 3 months ago, but i haven't talked about this on LJ because i just haven't. i'm still not going to tell you what i did out of a sense of decency. i just want to say that sometimes, some things turn out to be dumb things. this was a Dumb Thing. it's all good now, and i'm glad about it.

in therapy today, i was told that i'mm not the bad ass that i think i am, and that i'm actually a pretty nice person. my response: HAVE YOU MET ME?

since i'm not smoking in the new ride, i'm smoking way less. i'm not close to quitting, but maybe i'll get there.

honda civic, family, health, crazy behavior, mental health services, love
