birthday has come and gone
thanks all for the birthday wishes; i really appreciate it.
my dad sent a card. he wrote "who luves ya kid." just like that. this is a step up; his christmas card said something like "love you... where is the money you said you would send me? send me money!"
my mom didn't even bother to call to wish me a happy birthday. lemme see, couldn't come to graduation, can't pick up a phone to wish me happy birthday... being regular is probably more important to her than i am.
i went into work with the intention of not staying. the LT laughed at me when i asked if i could go home. see, it was also the last day of school for the local school systems and i figured i had a better chance of getting the day off if i came in and tried to go home. but he eventually let me go. i came home, cooked some tuna helper for supremegoddess1 and had a couple of beers.
oh well.
and i caught that summer cold/sinus nastiness that's going around. i've had a migraine for a couple of days that could possibly be sinus pain. bah.
