When Kasanoda comes home from Ouran High School in the late afternoon, everyone is waiting in the courtyard, just as they stand when the boss leaves every morning.
They always offer to play ‘kick the can’ with the boss, or they try to engage the boss in conversation, wishing to know how his day went.
And Tetsuya stands back, sweeping the courtyard and watching with amused eyes. He knows Kasanoda needs this, needs to know his men love me and like having him around.
Sometimes Tetsuya thought that friends were even more important than lovers.
