Summary: Dean finds himself wishing for his life of one month ago.
One month ago, Dean’s life had been simple. The most that he had had to worry about was staying one step ahead the law, in particular Agent Henriksen, and finding the yellow-eyed demon. It had seemed simple compared to what he was facing now. His brother had walked into a diner to get them the real food that Sammy had insisted on as he had complained that he was tired of convenience store food and then he had vanished. And if it hadn’t been bad enough that Sammy had just vanished into thin air, but he had left behind several bloody corpses. It brought back memories of when Sammy had been possessed by Meg, and Dean didn’t know if he could face that again, especially since he knew if Sammy was possessed again it might come down to a kill or be killed situation and despite the promises that he had made to their father, Dean loved his brother far too much to kill. As he surveyed the diner once again, Dean found himself wishing for the simplicity of his life a month ago, where all he had to do was stay several steps ahead of the law.
