"I'm never going to get you to call me Billy, am I?" Coach Donovan asks me, and I just have to smile and shake my head. "Probably not in the near future," I admit, "but you're more than welcome to keep trying."

He just smiles back at me, the kind of smile that says 'you amuse me, but I'm glad you're on my side.'

I've got a lot of great people in my life. As long as Billy Donovan's coaching here in Gainesville, this is where I intend to stay. Not that I didn't love Princeton, but this program feels like home. There are a lot of amazing people who have helped me get here. Danny Collins, my first real friend in the business -- I coached him and now he has my old job at Princeton. Jake Hannigan and all the work he put in. Coach Scott, for giving me my first big break. If anything, life in the NCAA has given me a lot of people to lean on.

But for all of that, there are still two people who make me who I am. Two people who keep me in check, and make everything all right at the end of the day. My son, Jackson, who's now seven, and my husband. At the heart of me, is the fact I'm crazy about that man.

He never judged me. Never told me I couldn't do this. Sure, I think he thought I was nuts, just like Coach Donovan sometimes thinks now, but he was always on my side. He still is now. I can still feel him inside of me when things get rough, still feel like he's right behind me. Sometimes, some of the more snarky things that I say are his fault. He's a part of me, and he's my biggest cheerleader. I need that, in this busy world.

I'm glad he's on my side, because I'd be nothing without him.
