Dean’s knees were weak when he first laid eyes on her.
She had carted him across the country and back again, and now she was smashed to pieces, bits of twisted metal hanging unnaturally. He circled around her, his hand tracing over the bruised shell. He felt a wave of sympathy.
“Sam’s never driving you again.” Dean murmured. He ran his palm over the hood and wiped off a layer of dust. Beneath, the shining black finish winked at him. He grinned, knowing she was still in there somewhere.
If he could come back to life, his baby could, too.
