Clark visited the Daily Planet the next day. He wasn't sure if he should be relieved or upset when he saw Chloe at her desk working. She looked up and saw him. Her eyes hardened and she returned to her tasks.
"Chlo, what's wrong? Why did you-"
"Clark I have a deadline to meet." Her voice was too calm. The girl he loved has passion in everything she did.
Chloe got up and brushed past him. Clark down and saw the piece she was working on...about Lex Luthor. He looked at her " Where you planning on telling me?"
She laughed bitterly. " You shouldn't talk about secrets Clark."
Clark tried again. " Chloe, I'm sorry"
Chloe crossed her arms over her chest. "For what Clark?"
She left when he didn't have answer.
