Her voice gave him shivers; the few rare times he’d heard her speak. Quiet, but with an edge. An underlying reverberating quality that was not usually found in a human throat. He doubted many others heard it. Seeing in heat signatures could be a bitch but his hearing made up for it at least. It came out especially when she growled (and that growl was something else altogether, speaking of wildness, predator and prey.) He knew most avoided her, afraid, but she drew him like a moth to flame. If only he could find the courage to talk to her.
