Smallville (Clark/Lex/Chloe) Trouble in paradise

Chloe found a vase of roses on her desk when she got to The Torch. She didn't have to read the tag to know it was from Lex. But she wasn't in the mood to talk to him yet. Things were awkward between her and Clark and she really want to fix that before anything else since she *did* drag him in this mess.
"So go find farm boy" Lois said and Chloe grinned. She hadn't realized she had spoken that thought out loud. Rushing out of there she headed to the football field, she spotted Clark on the bench. Clark saw her and looked unsure of what to do. So Chloe waved timidly, which by the way was something she was not use to doing.
But wasn't funny how something simple like that can break a barrier. Clark was by her side in moments kissing her as if he needed her to breathe. They both blushed at the whistles and cat calls this caused.
"Clark I-" Chloe started. But Clark interrupted her.
"You were right."
"Ok not what I was going for but I'll bite."
Clark looked nervous. "I know I don't give you all the facts about what's going on with me. But I do want to tell you guys. It's just-"
"There’s a lot to deal with in a relationship with three people and you don't know how to fully open yourself." Chloe finished for him. Clark looked relieved and nodded Chloe took the chance to continue. "I know and I actually understand that. I was just lashing out. But Clark do know that Lex and I will both be there for you. We support each other in this OK?"
Clark nodded again and kissed her. "What are you doing now?"
Chloe grinned. "Well I'm off to see our local billionaire and tell he's off the hook for now. Meet us there after practice ok?" And with that she headed to the Luthor Mansion.

"You can't just buy our forgiveness with gifts you know." Chloe declared.
"I hope not Chloe. It would undermine my opinions and respect for you." Lex answered.
Chloe crossed over to one of the chairs by the fireplace. "So what were you hoping to do?" she asked coolly.
Lex put down his glass of scotch and walked over to join her. "I was hoping to start the process of making up with my two high school student lovers.
Chloe pretended to ponder this. "Well Clark is at practice right now so might have to wait to make it up to him," she started. Then she slowly leaned in until she was centimeters away from Lex's lips. "But it always did take more time to get through to me."
Lex smiled and closed the gap between them.
