George laughed and kissed her forehead, pleased that even though he hadn't spent a lot of time with her recently he could still make her blush. "Is there anyone around that wants to snog at least?"
She gave him a sidelong glance, somehow managing to blush even redder. "Possibly. But the only girl I know who does probably wouldn't be to agreeable about snogging in the middle of a corridor when she's supposed to be on patrol."
"Silly Banana," he said, grabbing her hand in an attempt to drag her down the corridor. "Haven't I taught you anything? That's what broom cupboards are for!"
"George," she protested, but it was obviously less than half-hearted, both from her tone and the fact that he didn't actually have to drag her.
"Shhh, you'll ruin the moment," he said, glancing over at her. "Besides, you haven't patrolled in a single cupboard all night. There could be all kinds of mischief going on in there!"
"Oh, that's really likely, George." She rolled her eyes to underscore just how unlikely it was. When she'd first become a prefect she had of course been very thorough during her patrols, but soon she found that unless someone was running from her trying to avoid detention, there never was anything in them but brooms. "If we find any mischief going on in the broom cupboard, I'll play strip snap with you."
[When they stumble into the broom cupboard, of course there's mischief in there--Ron consulting with a Slytherin girl. Poor Hannah...the picture takes place before they realize they aren't alone.]
