Hi there what's new? So I wrote about New Years resolutions and what I've been up to lately, but this one is going to be a little less like a list.
May 3rd of 2013, Josh and I moved out from my parents into an apartment near Southside Walmart called The Estates. We had a three bedroom on the 3rd floor. We moved in with a co-worker of mine, Amber and her guy friend Joe. It didn't end up working out for multiple reasons and we moved out once again when the lease was up.
May 1st of 2014 (this year), Josh and I moved out with a different co-worker of mine, Anna into a two bedroom on the 1st floor (which is sort of like a basement because the bottoms of the windows are level to the ground). It's like absolutely amazing on gas since work for all three of us is so close, compared to opposite side of town. for Josh's 70's van, it used to be about 50 bucks every five days. now it's like once every like two weeks or something, it's a big difference. So far so good living there, I feel a lot cozier in this apartment, although the other one was nicer looking and bigger. I feel very comfortable comparatively.
July 11th, three days ago, I got my second holes in my ear lobes! I wanted it done for a few weeks but I just gathered some courage and did it! Carol from jewelry did it, I priced around at Claire's, but their good quality earrings were 50 bucks compared to 10 dollars at work. Anyway, they look adorable! I'm so happy! But yesterday they just felt like on fire, I felt like the backs were sooo tight, and my ears were swelling and red, it hurt so much. Also when I try to spin the left one it bleeds. I asked my co-worker Meli and she agreed that it looked too tight. So I called Josh at lunch and had him pick me up to try to get the backs off. I have extra backs, which are butterfly backs so they should hopefully be a lot better than whatever the backs were before. Anyway, he picked me up and I tried getting it off. My nails kept slipping and I kept just hurting myself more and more, and they were swollen and in so much pain enough as it is. Well, I was crying from a mix of pain and frustration, so I asked Josh to do it. It took a bit but he finally got my right one out. I grabbed the earring and shoved it back in quick, but put on the butterfly back. Tears streamed down my face, I kept the door closed so hopefully Anna wouldn't hear me too much lol! I was really afraid of him doing my left ear because that's the one that was giving me trouble, but that one was actually a bit better. Although it started bleeding right away, and I had difficulty shoving the earring back into the bloody hole... ;_; It was terrible. But they feel a lot better so far! I sure hope they're going to heal better! they're definitely not as burning hot and inflamed as before I can tell you that.
Josh and I got to go to Anime Midwest after all with Israel! We went on July 4th, stayed the night, went July 5th, stayed the night, and went home the morning of the 6th. It was so amazing that I can't even explain it all right now. It was essentially more like a Steam Powered Giraffe con with other stuff rather than a convention with SPG stuff hahaha. We went to the autograph signing, both of their concerts, their panel, and we got pictures taken with them! It really was the most amazing weekend, and I took so many pictures to remember it :) Israel just has to post his pictures so I can steal his just like last time haha!
