Arrrrrrr!!
So yeah, last night I went to see the new Pirates of the Carribean movie. I was not all that impressed, really. The first movie (which I only saw recently, while visiting

dopplex) was much more of what you'd expect from a pirate movie: swashbuckling and swordfights and general "yo ho ho"-ness. This new movie got off to a good enough start, but towards the end it seemed more like science fiction to me, with yucky special effects like tentacles, bodily organs, and lots of slime. And I was not satisfied with the ending at all. Overall, almost not worth the time and expense. That is just my take on it, though.
