The Game

Well, the Red Sox game was a really good time.
midnightcoder and I both left work early and took the train in to Boston on Wednesday afternoon, and made our way over to Fenway Park early enough to get to our seats and grab some food without much trouble. The seats we had were amazing! They were right behind home plate, just below the edge of the Green Monster. I brought my camera with me (they're allowed, believe it or not) and took some great shots (particularly with my optical/digital zoom):

What are the chances we'd run into each other on Yawkey Way?

My babe lookin' all cute in the stands. :)
You know, it's funny... Fenway looks a lot bigger on TV than it is in real life. :)

So yeah, Toronto beat the Sox soundly, 8-4... meaning I have yet to go to a sports event where the home team actually won. (The next day, my co-worker Patty said something like, "That's OK, you can go back again, just wear a bag over your head so the team doesn't recognize you!" haha)

The way home was another adventure. We squeezed through the Kenmore stop to get on the Green Line, then in to North Station. Where of course we had missed a train by maybe 15 minutes, and had to wait another HOUR for the next train. It left at 12:10 AM...literally the last train out of North Station for the day. We got back to Acton at about 1:00 AM. D'oh! Oh well, we had a good time overall and it was worth the crush through the T and every sleepy moment on the train. :)

And last but not least, thanks to
sunniski for letting me borrow the shirt and show my colors. :)

PS- I know the Sox didn't play the Yankees, but that doesn't mean they don't still suck. :)
