I officially have three weeks left at Pizza Man and five weeks left of summer.  I can do this, we're down to the backstretch.

So, this weekend was a lot of fun, and I, along with two other crazies I call my best friends, conquered this beauty:

That's Sugar Creek at Turkey Run State Park in Indiana.  I had tons of fun canoeing and checking out Turkey Run and the surrounding area with Chris and Audra this weekend.  It was awesome seeing how the three of us can work together and pull off fifteen miles of canoeing in very shallow water through most of it and a couple minor mishaps.  Canoeing is something I'd definitely do again.  After my sunburn goes away and muscles stop hurting.

And of course, a picture of the best roadside attraction along the way:

I had some profound thoughts, I'm sure, but I forget them now.  I crashed by 11:30 last night and I swear I did not move once in my sleep.  That had to have been the best night of sleep I've gotten in a long time.  When I got up this morning there was just a bump in my comforter where my body had been.  It would have been easy to make my bed this morning, only if I had.

And it's currently 10:00 and I'm bummed because I'm working the next six days in a row.  Looking ahead, the next three weeks are going to be hard.  I've seen Chris and Audra atleast once, usually more than once, in the past couple of weeks, and now I'm not going to see anyone until people start moving back.  The little fun I did have this summer is now over, and it's back to working at Pizza Man everyday.  Hopefully it'll go by quickly.  I do get a surprise party on my last night, that should be interesting.  I hope I get cake.
