Homecoming weekend
This weekend is homecoming. This morning I met my sister Megan for breakfast (along with others) It was so good to see Megan. I haven't seen her in probably two years (Kristina's wedding) and haven't talked to her in over a year. I miss her. She really is a good person. But now that she's back in Ohio maybe I can hook up with her more often. (We have to do something to kick our old fraternity in the butt.)
Later tonight I'll be heading to go see another old friend, Brian. I'll be spending the night at his place. Getting to spend time with him, his wife and their little girl, Emily Fae. I haven't seen them since Emily Fae was born and that had been the first time since before Brian married. He too is another good friend.
So when I talked to my gramma Bonnette last night and I said this was a weekend of reconnecting with old friends I was telling the complete truth, just not at that moment! I miss my sisters and I miss the brothers I was friends with. And I was just talking to Kate. I hope to plann a reunion for January on my long weekend. Get everyone together and make it about all of us.
Okay, I should go. We need to get Kate to the airport soon.
